On November 23, in Seoul (Korea), Global Money Express Remittance (GME Remittance) – Korea’s leading Money Transfer Service Provider – and Zalo – Vietnam’s leading messaging app – signed a cooperation agreement. Accordingly, GME Remittance will deploy an international money transfer service on Zalo app to help Vietnamese and foreigners living in Korea send money to Vietnam easily and conveniently.
Representatives of GME Remittance and Zalo are committed to working closely in all aspects to bring a simple, fast and convenient service for Zalo users in Korea and Vietnam.
Integrating international money transfer service on Zalo, serving all needs of Vietnamese users
Sharing at the signing ceremony, Mr. John Sung stated: In cooperation with Zalo, GME would like to provide more convenient and faster service to 250,000 Vietnamese who are living in Korea.

Going beyond messaging and communication, Vietnamese people now can perform many services to meet essential daily needs on Zalo such as: Apply Online administration, update online news, get weather forecast, lookup traffic violation, follow power cut schedule and monthly electricity and water bill information, etc. Currently, there are about 9,000 state agencies, public service providers implementing their services to people through Zalo.
COO of GME Subash Poudel stated that the Vietnamese in Korea will love this service since they are already very accustomed to using Zalo app in daily basis.
Once a GME user links their account with Zalo, sending money will be as easy as sending a chat message.
